Caitlin & Ben wanted a dreamy winter wedding, so they packed up their suitcases (OK, more than just suitcases…) and left their warm Florida temps behind for a beautiful celebration at The Williamsburg Inn of Colonial Williamsburg. They exchanged vows at Saint Bede Catholic Church and then joined family and friends for an evening of dancing and divine cuisine in the elegant surroundings of the Inn. Fun fact: The Late Queen Elizabeth, Shirley Temple, Betty White, Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower, George C. Marshall, and President Truman are just a few of the notable figures who have graced the halls of the Williamsburg Inn. The night ended with a “bang” when the couple enjoyed the fireworks from Colonial Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination.
Can we all just take a minute for Caitlin’s dress (purchased at The Dressing Room in their home state of Florida)? It featured a custom neckline, an overdress (which weighed as much as a wedding dress itself but was stunning as she walked down the aisle), and an absolutely darling bow when bustled.
