Dessi & Carter met at William & Mary and planned a riverfront wedding at a friend’s private residence in Mathews, Virginia. Dessi was a college volleyball player, and this was the first wedding that I was completely surrounded by women as tall (or taller!) than me (5’10” here!) There was even a volleyball net set up for attendants to play before the ceremony. Dessi & Carter said their “I dos” overlooking the water, and the tented reception was not only stunningly beautiful but also non-stop fun for the guests. Their band, The Dundies, kept the crowd dancing all night. A special shoutout to some of my favorite planners and florists, Riverwood Designs, who did a phenomenal job for these two.
